Therapeutic Adventure

We offer the following workshops in an outdoor setting. These programs are customized to an organization's interest and objectives. Participants will engage in challenging and exciting activities which provoke growth and healing in certain aspects of their life.

Group Dynamics Workshop

This workshop draws on the strengths of individuals in a group situation, and explores areas for improvement while working or living in a group situation. The goal of the workshop is to have a better understanding of group dynamics and the particular "role" the participant tends to play in a group. Leadership and team building will be integrated into the program.

Communications Workshop

Ideal for everybody. This workshop is unique in its use of different activities to develop better communication techniques. There will be some interest in how to communicate in conflict situations more effectively as well as discussion on how to express feelings more clearly.

Leadership Workshop

Ideal for individuals who want to improve their leadership skills or for individuals needing to develop leadership skills. Building self confidence is a key component to this workshop.

Conflict Resolution

This workshop is an alternative to anger management workshops. The individual will uncover their techniques for handling conflict and emerge with new ways to reduce and recover from conflicts in their personal, school or work life.

What's a ropes course?

Challenge ropes courses are used by all kinds of groups:

We have low ropes features and a high ropes course which involve a series of cables, ladders, ropes, slings, logs, trees and posts.

Each challenge is called an element. Every element has an objective, such as walking across 2 cables wired between 2 trees 25 feet off the ground, with no hands!!! For all of our high ropes elements the participant is harnessed in and attached to a belay system, with a qualified belayer and back up belayer on the ground.

Our low ropes features are 3-5 feet off the ground. Low ropes also have an objective, such as walking across a log that is suspended by cables between two trees. For all of our low ropes challenges each participant is instructed on how to spot and support the participant that is working through the challenge.

The purpose of involving all the participants is to promote trust, emphasize the importance of communication, to encourage leadership and support for all of the group member, thus strengthening the group as a team.

Safe Spaces

Our first objective is to create a safe space to learn and grow in. Each activity is "challenge by choice". This means if the participant wishes not to take part, then the participant is supported in that decision. We value the strength in someone who knows their own boundaries. We also support individuals who are open to pushing their boundaries in our programs.

All of our equipment meets the standards and is inspected regularly. All of our staff have current certifications in advanced wilderness first aid. Emergency response plans are in place for all of our programs.

We are mobile and flexible!!!!

If you can't get to where we are, we can come to you. Contact us for further details on how we can accommodate your logistical needs for your group.
